Black Nativity: 50th Celebration

Boston’s Black Nativity is the story of the birth of Jesus, told in the Black vernacular. It’s also the story of one woman’s determination to bring arts education and a center for expression of African American culture to Boston during one of our nation’s most tumultuous times. A Story of Faith and Resolve: Boston’s Black Nativity, explores the rich artistic and cultural history of this majestic production, now in its 50th year.
